Returns, Cancellations & Shipping Policy

At Vivian Coscia Store, all sculptures are handmade collectible art pieces individually crafted with care, attention to detail, and artistic dedication. Due to the handmade, made-to-order, and collectible nature of our products, we maintain a strict policy regarding cancellations, returns, refunds, shipping, and custom commissions.

By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only within the first 24 hours after purchase.

After this period, materials may have been allocated, production may have begun, or shipping arrangements may already be underway. Therefore, cancellations, modifications, refunds, or changes to the order will no longer be possible.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through our contact channels within the 24-hour cancellation period.

Production & Shipping Times

All production and shipping timeframes displayed on our website are estimates only and should not be considered guaranteed delivery dates.

As each sculpture is handmade, actual production and dispatch times may vary depending on:

Current production workload
Complexity of the sculpture
Material availability
Seasonal demand
Public holidays
Customs procedures
Carrier performance
Circumstances beyond our control

Delays in production, dispatch, shipping, customs clearance, or delivery do not constitute valid grounds for:

Order cancellation
Refund requests
Chargebacks
Compensation claims
Return requests

If you require a sculpture for a specific event, gift, exhibition, birthday, holiday, or special occasion, you must contact us before or at the time of purchase and obtain written confirmation from us.

Failure to communicate a required delivery date before purchasing shall not create any obligation on our part regarding delivery deadlines and shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or dispute.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the handmade and collectible nature of our products, all sales are considered final.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

Change of mind
Buyer’s remorse
Personal preference
Incorrect expectations
Mistaken purchases
Delays in production
Delays in shipping
Customs processing times
Import duties or taxes
Handmade variations
Minor cosmetic differences
Natural characteristics of handcrafted artwork

Exceptions: Lost or Damaged Items

Refunds or replacements will only be considered under the following circumstances:

Lost Packages

If the shipping carrier officially confirms that a package has been lost in transit.

Shipping Damage

If an item arrives significantly damaged as a direct result of shipping or handling during transit.

To submit a claim, customers must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

Clear photographs of the damaged item
Photographs of the shipping box and packaging materials
Photographs of the shipping label
Any additional information reasonably required for carrier or insurance claims

Claims submitted without sufficient supporting evidence may be denied.

Replacement Before Refund

Whenever possible, replacement of the lost or damaged item will be offered as the primary solution.

Refunds will only be considered when replacement is not possible or practical, at our sole discretion.

Custom Commissions & Made-to-Order Sculptures

Custom commissions, personalized sculptures, and made-to-order projects require significant planning, material allocation, and artistic work.

Because these projects are created specifically for the customer, they are subject to stricter conditions than standard store purchases.

Once work has commenced, custom commissions and personalized sculptures cannot be:

Cancelled
Modified
Returned
Exchanged
Refunded

except in cases where the item is lost during shipping or arrives significantly damaged.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate references, specifications, dimensions, and requirements before production begins.

Requests for modifications after production has started may not be possible and, if accepted, may incur additional charges.

Estimated completion dates for commissions are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Production schedules may change due to artistic complexity, material availability, workload, or circumstances beyond our control.

Customers requiring delivery by a specific date must notify us before placing their order and receive written confirmation from us. Failure to do so shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, compensation, or dispute.

Handmade Nature of Our Sculptures

Every sculpture is individually handmade and hand-painted.

Small variations in color, finish, texture, brushwork, proportions, or artistic details are normal characteristics of handcrafted artwork and should not be considered defects.

Product photographs are intended to represent the overall appearance of the sculpture but may not be identical to every piece produced.

These natural variations are part of the uniqueness and value of handmade artwork.

Shipping Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Vivian Coscia Store is not responsible for:

Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
Failed delivery attempts
Packages refused by the recipient
Customs delays
Customs inspections
Import duties
Import taxes
Government fees
Local regulations affecting delivery

Any additional costs incurred due to incorrect information supplied by the customer shall be the customer’s responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the item ordered.

Under no circumstances shall Vivian Coscia Store be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from production delays, shipping delays, customs procedures, or the use of our products.

Acceptance of These Terms

By placing an order through Vivian Coscia Store, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Returns, Cancellations & Shipping Policy in its entirety.
